"KNX-EDGE Training" is the training department of our company (SHIFT), which offers training in green (EDGE) and intelligent building (KNX), particularly KNX Partner and Expert EDGE technical and practical workshops, adapted to qualified professionals in the construction industry and related fields.
At SHIFT, we also offer a wide range of professional awareness and training courses suitable for different audiences including architects, engineers, planners, decision-makers, board members and entrepreneurs. All courses start with a training needs analysis (TNA).

With our global license (EDGE Faculty) issued by IFC, we organise EDGE Expert Technical Training Workshop for buildings’ professionals. Trainings can be delivered in-house, by webinars or one to one online tutoring and/or coaching. The aim of our trainings courses is to upskill new and current generations of energy and facilities managers, thus extending the community of professionals required to deliver more efficient, smarter, and greener buildings.

EDGE Experts work with clients to make a positive impact and help drive environmental design of buildings through advisory and consultancy using the EDGE App to quickly identify the most cost-effective ways to reduce energy use, water use, and embodied energy in materials. EDGE Experts are accredited by IFC, a member of the World Bank Group.

To become an EDGE Expert, you need to undergo an One or two days of 8-12 hours training and take the EDGE Exam. Take EDGE Experts training to become more knowledgeable about the EDGE App and certification process. The training, which prepares you for the EDGE Exam covers :

Online On-Demande Training
Online On-Demande Training
Online on-demand training is provided in English or French and can be taken at your own time and pace.
Cost: up to $150
Length: Five to six modules
To minimise our environmental impact, our primary type of training is live stream training in French and English or online on demande training in French. The live training allows you to participate remotely from your home or office with a virtual trainer (EDGE Faculty) who will lead the webcast. During the training, you will have the opportunity to ask questions in real time and engage with the trainer, as well as other attendees.
